The activities of the Chair of Research on Online Dialogue and Cultural Communication are based on several main paths, with each path containing several initiatives aimed at achieving the main objectives of the chair.
1. Applied Artificial Intelligence Research:
This path aims to innovate applied research solutions using artificial intelligence techniques that develop methods of electronic dialogue, civilizational communication, promotion of Islam, caring for new Muslims, and enriching religious content. Initiatives in this path include:
- The Research Roadmap Initiative for the Chair, which identifies the precise research areas of focus and research targets for each field.
- The Initiative to Improve the Performance of Electronic Dialogue and Civilizational Communication Systems through big data analysis, information extraction, trends, and patterns, and providing instant reports and recommendations to enhance the quality and effectiveness of electronic dialogue and civilizational communication.
- The Smart Content Enrichment Initiative through creating and generating diverse and innovative religious content suitable for the target audience using artificial intelligence techniques.
2. Training and Qualification:
This path aims to raise awareness among sector workers through training, qualification, and capacity building in the applications of artificial intelligence to serve the objectives of the research chair. Initiatives in this path include:
- Launching specialized training programs in artificial intelligence techniques for sector workers, in collaboration with the College of Computer and Information Sciences at King Saud University, to increase their efficiency and skills in using these techniques in electronic dialogue and civilizational communication activities.
- Launching professional certification programs in artificial intelligence techniques for sector workers, in collaboration with accredited international bodies, to enhance their capabilities and culture in this field and demonstrate their competence in the job market.
- Launching awareness and guidance campaigns for sector leaders, in collaboration with relevant entities, to highlight the importance and benefits of artificial intelligence techniques in developing electronic dialogue and civilizational communication methods and performance, and their role in improving the quality and effectiveness of service to beneficiaries.
3. Community Engagement:
This path aims to create cooperative relationships with distinguished international research and scientific institutions to achieve global partnership in developing research on electronic dialogue and civilizational communication, and to cooperate with relevant entities inside and outside the Kingdom to achieve communication objectives with society. Initiatives in this path include:
- Organizing international scientific conferences, seminars, and workshops in the field of electronic dialogue and civilizational communication using artificial intelligence techniques, in collaboration with distinguished research and scientific institutions, to exchange experiences, knowledge, and best practices in this field, and to encourage cooperation and partnership between them.
- Launching awareness and guidance campaigns for the community, in collaboration with relevant entities, to highlight the importance and benefits of artificial intelligence techniques in electronic dialogue and civilizational communication.
- Establishing an international scientific journal specializing in the field of electronic dialogue and civilizational communication using artificial intelligence techniques, in collaboration with distinguished research and scientific institutions, to publish the latest research, projects, and solutions in this field, and to increase impact and contribution to human knowledge.
